This web-site provides an extensive set of links to sites dealing with such issue areas as public administration, globalization, and ethnicity.  His site also contains several of his papers and his autobiography.

Associations
American Political Science Association
Of particular interest are the links to national political science associations and area studies organizations.  Also of use are links to ASPA's organized sections focused on public policy and public administration.  The PA  section has its own International Corner.

Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management
APPAM encourages excellence in research, teaching, and practice in the field of public policy analysis and management.  APPAM operates through its annual fall and spring conferences, a newsletter, and the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management.  The web-site also includes links to the schools and programs that are institutional members.

National Academy of Public Administration
The National Academy of Public Administration is an independent, nonpartisan organization chartered by Congress to assist federal, state, and local governments in improving their effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability.  It also had an International Program to provide technical assistance.

International Institute of International Sciences (IIAS)
Promotes the development of the administrative sciences and the better operation of public administrative agencies at all levels.  Represented in a hundred countries in all regions of the world by researchers and specialists of the administrative sciences in public law, public sector management and institutional development. 

International Political Science Association
IPSA sponsors international conferences and 48 research committees, several of  which deal with international and comparative administration.  The site also contains links to national Political Science Associations, and other politically oriented sites.

Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development
The OECD groups 29 member countries in an organization that, most importantly, provides governments a setting in which to discuss, develop and perfect economic and social policy. Some work on development administration.  See also PUMA - OECD Work on Public Management.

The U.S. Agency for International Development
This web-site documents U.S. development strategy both thematically and in various regions.  Also of interest is the extensive list of development-oriented links.

The Caribbean Centre for Development Administration
CARICAD was established by an Agreement signed by CARICOM member states in 1980 as a regional inter-governmental organization to assist governments in upgrading their managerial capabilities for public policy analysis, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public sector reform programs.

Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management
CAPAM develops curricula in public sector management and plans regional conferences and national seminars on related issues to involve a wider cross-section of Commonwealth public servants.

The Latin American Centre for Development Administration
The Latin American Centre for Development Administration (CLAD) is an inter-governmental organisation, established in 1972, as a regional agency that would assist member governments modernize public administration, a strategic factor in he economic and social development process.

General International and Development Information CIA World Factbook
This site, maintained by the CIA, contains basic information on the political institutions, economy, and geography for each of the world's independent countries.

State Department's Background Notes
These entries provide a fuller treatment of a country's history and current political and economic situation than the World Fact Book.  However, some entries are a bit dated. This site is the gateway.  You need to select a region and then the specific country.

Area Handbooks
This series, once coordinated by the U.S. Army, is now managed by the Library of Congress.  These handbooks are book-length surveys of politics, economic, history, and geography. Handbook are currently available for 85 countries around the world.

Governments on the WWW
This site, maintained by Gunnar Anzinger, emphasizes links to official web-sites of governments (ministries, political parties, embassies, tourist offices, etc.).
