The ASPA-Mexico  Pilot Program
In 1998 ASPA initiated the Mexico Pilot Program as a broad-based effort to improve the study and practice of public administration in the United States and Mexico.  This initiative has already promoted greater collaboration, especially greater Mexican involvement in the 1999 and 2000 ASPA Conferences.  Details of what has been realized can be found in the periodic newsletters prepared by the Pilot Program's coordinator, Dr. Donald Donald E. Klingner of Florida International University.

The ASPA- United Nations
Program
ASPA's linkage with the United Nations' Division of Public Economics and Public Administration (DPEPA) has already led to greater participation of United Nations staff in ASPA conferences and greater participation of ASPA members in activities sponsored by DPEPA (see Chester Newland's article in the June 2000 PA Times for more information).

William Miller is ASPA's program's coordinator.
