Fretwell 128, 3:00 PM
Dr. Robert Klitgaard, Ford Distinguished Professor of International Development and Dean of the Rand Graduate School, will present the first annual Pi Sigma Alpha Lecture. He was selected by the faculty and student members of the chapter for his numerous contributions to the analysis of political corruption around the world.  Dr. Klitgaard has also served as a consultant to various international organizations, including two years as head of a World Bank economic reform program in Equatorial Guinea.  That experience is recounted in his memoir, Tropical Gangsters, which was named one of the 10 best books of nonfiction in 1990 by the New York Times.
