Introduction to Comparative Politics 

On-Line Readings

Several assigned reading must be accessed through the Internet.  In some cases, I can provide a direct link to the article.  In other cases, I can provide you with a link to a bibliographic database (Ebsco Host/Academic Search Fulltext Elite) through which you can access the article.

Note that the Ebsco Host can only be accessed through campus computers, such as those in the labs or in the library.

To retrieve an article from the database, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the link associated with the article.  It will take you a list of available databases.

  2.  
  3. Just click on Enter to move to the Search Screen

  4.  
  5. At the Search Screen, select Advanced Search from the choices on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

  6.  
  7. At the Advanced Search Screen, enter the article's accession number (AN) into the first box and select AN from the search choices listed in the second box.  I have provided the article's AN on this page.

  8.  
  9. Click on the search button.
