Every summer, UNC Charlotte Extended Academic Programs offers Camps on Campus, a program of academic enrichment camps for rising grades 1 - 12. Between June and August, we host a series of camps with several options to choose from each week. Many kids return year after year and make lifelong friends at Camps on Campus. Camps are designed for specific grade ranges so your son or daughter will be amongst kids their own age.
This summer, our Cool School campers in rising grades 1 - 4 will focus on the cross-curricular integration of multiple academic areas, and instructors will focus on grade-appropriate approaches to learning through differentiated and adapted curriculum. Offerings include sessions on exploring nature, art, musical theater, archaeology, robotics, time travel, and super heroes.
Middle school students in rising grades 5 - 8 can expect to be challenged to prevent summer learning loss in diverse subject matters that explore healthcare careers, robotics, and veterinary medicine. These 49er Minors will have fun learning as they prepare for the coming academic year.
High school students in rising grades 9 - 12 can enroll in camps considered as great builders for their college applications and their professional resumes.
