Extended Academic Programs is offering a variety of new continuing education classroom-based and online programs this fall. Our programs are designed in accelerated formats to help busy professionals accomplish their educational goals without compromising time away from work, family, and community.

Our Supervisory Certificate has been redesigned to include new topics for current and aspiring supervisors to develop their skills in communication, leadership, and management. Classes begin October 20 and run through June 5. Students can start the program any time and take individual courses or choose to complete all required courses to earn the certificate.

We have launched a brand new healthcare management certificate program, the Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM®), which is designed to align with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) curriculum for individuals to prepare for the CPPM® national examination. The program is taught entirely online in a self-paced format and can be completed in just over 3 months of study. The program begins August 13 and registration is now open.

Managers, Project Management Professionals (PMP®), and Business Analysts may be interested in new professional development short courses including:

Classroom courses are offered at UNC Charlotte Center City, conveniently located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte.

To learn more, we offer free information sessions throughout the year online and in-person. Visit us online to RSVP.
