Biographical InformationKirstin Wells received an undergraduate degree in Economics from Calvin
College and a Master of Arts in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University. Kirstin worked for 15 years in the banking industry before
beginning the PhD program - first for the Board of Governors of the Federal
Reserve System in Washington DC as a policy analyst in payment systems, and then
at Wachovia Bank as a strategic planner for the payments business.
