moriah cowan is the neutral party in this soap opera they call student media. She is known for the fact that a supreme being has decided that she
should not drive, continually trying to prove this to her through various wrecks and breakdowns. She remains stubborn, but careful. To prove her strength, she has decided to spend a year
studying civil engineering in Germany when she doesn't even know the language! The only problem is that they don't play rugby there, so she has resolved to teach them. |
kevin croussore wishes not to digress retrospectively, having been called upon for the second and final time to write his staff bio. He would
simply like to make clear two things. First, though he often was scolded for continuing to eat them, he maintains that the donuts were in fact not stale, most of the time, and that he
fittingly should be left to have his coffee and donuts in peace, should he ever brave them again. Second, when it appeared he was sleeping on the couch, he was actually doing the mental
work, and would only have slept there if he could have gotten that OTHER Editor to move for a while. He believes it is his legacy here simply to be the one who wrote all those good letters. |
catherine hamby , besides being the assistant literary editor for Sanskrit, is the proud sibling to twenty idiosyncratic kitty-cats, to whom she
owes much of her inspiration. She is engrossed in an ongoing search for the most comfortable pair of pajama bottoms. Her greatest aspiration, though, is to appear as a world-class chef on
the Discovery channel. |
ali miller is a twenty-two year old senior. She plans to graduate in May of 1999. As an English major, she spends a large amount of time reading
and writing papers, so in her free time she enjoys poetry. During her time at Sanskrit, her most memoreable moment was the day all the staff members sat and discussed issues of diversity and
how getting an education has made an impact on how society is seen. She thinks that from that very interesting conversation everyone walked away with a desire to learn more about various ethnic
groups in order to encourage other people (and themselves) to continue to fight for multiculturalism and diversity. Her future goals consist of continued education and helping people as much
as she can. "Let reading and writing be your escape from the world." |
devlin moyers is a self-professed know-it-all who is constantly making futile attempts at having everyone see it his way. He wants to be the best
there ever was at anything and everything. He will stop at nothing to gain self domination, conquering laziness and sloth with one fell blow. Maybe one day he'll even be published. In the
maintime, for Devlin, life is good and God is great. |
courtney b. norris seeks only passion in life, to realize and truly understand that each moment should be lived to completeness because God is fully
in each moment. She has great dreams to end homelessness, to touch the heart of every person through a big movie screen, and to marry "the one." It is through Barbie birthday parties and
arguments of the "sex" poem that life alludes to realness and to friendship. |
giovanna scano is a sweet innocent school girl by day as she attends classes, while smiling at everyone she passes, and then hits the books. By
night...she is a loud, partyin', Italian, Gemini, Jersey girl. All she needs is some caffeine, nicotine, and her good friends at Pi Kappa Phi by her side to help her pull some all-nighters.
All this wraped into one girl. |
amy smith is a compulsive neat freak who is 100% sure she will never have another roommate due to last semester's experience. She is often
fascinated and sometimes stunned by comments made to her regarding her two different colored eyes. |
roslyn tomblin has definitely been a source of entertainment around the office due to her professed clinical insanity and nonstop complaints.
She is the only English major in the world who can get a job writing resumes by sending her's to be written by a professional. She is well known for that great hair, height, and habitual lying. |
