The Charlotte 49ers athletics teams compete on the NCAA Division I level and are members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. 49ers athletics has a storied history and fields championship caliber teams in 14 sports. The Charlotte 49ers football team will take the field in 2013.
The Campus Events website is your resource for hundreds of activities and events held at UNC Charlotte throughout the year. Search this online calendar by date or event categories such as speakers, arts, entertainment, recreation, career, and more. Promote your own campus department or student organization's activities by submitting your campus events online.
There are many ways for students to get involved in campus life beyond the classroom, whether through one of the hundreds of UNC Charlotte student organizations, participating in intramurals or sport clubs, or by attending a cultural event or University-sponsored activity. Student Computing provides technical support to students through the Student Computing Help Center. Get help with your NinerNET account, 49er Express and Moodle and other applications. Visit the Student Computing website to find out more about labs, software downloads, wireless access and tips on safe computing.
The UNC Charlotte undergraduate and graduate course catalogs include useful information that will help you stay on track for graduation. Both catalogs are available online.
Graduation ceremonies are held at UNC Charlotte in December and May annually. Learn more about important timelines and the graduation application process.
Your 49er ID card gives you entrée to just about anything you need on campus. It allows access to housing, programs, athletic events, facilities and the Student Health Center. It also serves as a meal plan card and a library card. If you are commuting to campus, there are a variety of parking options and plans available.
