UNC Charlotte’s graduate programs are growing, and so is our national reputation. We offer 100 graduate programs in a wide variety of fields and specialties ranging from architecture, biomedical engineering, computing, and health administration, to history, teacher education, creative writing, business, nursing and social work.
Our honors programs and scholarships are available to talented and highly motivated students of all majors. The merit-based Levine Scholars Program provides full, four-year scholarships to the most capable students with an emphasis on community service and the development of ethical leadership skills.

Atkins Library fosters intellectual discovery by offering an impressive collection of scholarly materials, including robust special collections and the most up-to-date scholarly journals, and services, including interlibrary loan and the Writing Resources Center. Students and faculty are encouraged to ask the library’s knowledgeable staff of librarians for assistance with academic research.

Academic Affairs plans for and facilitates academic programs and services to help students and faculty achieve their academic and professional goals. In collaboration with faculty governance, Academic Affairs assesses academic programs and facilitates the establishment of new courses and degree programs. Academic Affairs houses academic policies and procedures.
