Find Articles
Use these indexes to search for journal articles.

Freely available via the Web:

Agricola (Agricultural Online Access) - Index to Books and Journals in the National Library of Agriculture. Many Veterinary and Animal Welfare topics are included. This is a major resource for animal research.

Ingenta

This Public Access Internet index searches the tables of contents of more than 27,900 journals across a wide range of academic topics. It is a very good index for biomedical, scientific, veterinary and related topics. International in scope. The coverage goes back to about 1989. Search by keywords in titles or by authors. Title pages of particular journals can be browsed issue by issue. Articles can be faxed or downloaded - however, unless you access them through a subscribing institution, the articles themselves are not free.

MEDLINE Pubmed
From the National Library of Medicine. Search for medical and veterinary articles. Here is a list of journals currently included in this database.

Veterinary Journals: Tables of Contents

This database consists of the tables of contents of over 260 veterinary journals, veterinary conference proceedings and parts of books. Keyword searching allowed. Does not include journals indexed by Medline from year 2000 on.

Produced by Jean-PaulJette, Faculte de medecine veterinaire, Universite de Montreal. French and English.
