1. Official secondary school (high school) transcripts, which list course work and grades of the 4 years of high school education (or 3 years if you are still completing your final year of high school at the time of applying to UNC Charlotte).



2. Certified copy of your secondary school (high school) diploma (degree certification), if you have already earned your high school degree, unless your high school transcripts clearly indicate your graduation date.
   
   If you are still completing your high school education at the time of applying to UNC Charlotte, you must send a final transcript and a certified copy of your diploma as soon as it becomes available, and prior to your enrollment at UNC Charlotte.

If you have graduated from a high school outside the US, you must submit a Foreign Credential Evaluation of your academic transcripts and degree certificate.

The Foreign Credential Evaluations have to be performed by World Education Services (www.wes.org) or by an agency that is a member of NACES (www.naces.org).

UNC Charlotte currently offers a merit based scholarship to first year students entering the U.S on an F-1 visa.

This International Undergraduate Student Scholarship is awarded to one student per year and the scholarship award will credited to the student's UNC Charlotte account over a two semester period.

This scholarship will be awarded to an applicant that has shown outstanding academic achievement throughout his/her high school career.

If you are interested in applying for the International Undergraduate Student Scholarship, please submit a one page essay along with your supplemental items to the Office of International Admissions no later than June 1st.
