Your application for admission to UNC Charlotte as a Visitor will be reviewed for admission consideration
after the Office of International Undergraduate Admissions receives all the required application materials.
In order to ensure English Language proficiency, any applicant whose native language is not English, and/or who has been educated
primarily outside of the US, must submit official TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB scores. International students completing their high school
education in the U.S. may submit SAT scores instead.
The scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to UNC Charlotte. UNC Charlotte’s school code is 5105. Scores older than two (2) years will not be accepted.
Exemptions: Applicants are exempt if they :
- Are citizens of, or have earned an associate’s degree or higher in one of the following
countries: Australia, British Caribbean and British West Indies,
Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, Liberia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States.
- Have completed at least (2) academic English writing
courses with a grade of ‘C’ or better, at a US institution of higher education .

Verbal score of 450; Combined math and critical reading score of 900.
