Social Security Contributions

Social Security contributions are withheld from all compensation paid to part-time members of the faculty. No credit for amounts earned in the employ of another employer is permitted. A social security card must be presented and withholding forms must be completed in the Human Resources Department (222 King, 704-687-4269) before payment of salary can be made.
