Seeking Graduate Life Fellows for 2008-2009
The Graduate School is seeking four committed students to serve as Graduate Fellows for the coming academic year. This fellowship is designed to maximize the creativity of those chosen for the fellowship. Through creative programming, Graduate Life Fellows will help to build community for the graduate student population. This position is ideal for students seeking to get involved but who need a flexible time commitment. Graduate Life Fellows work an average of 5 hours per week and receive an award of $4,000 for the academic year, which will not impact the aid package for most students.

8th Annual Graduate Research Fair
Sponsored by the Graduate & Professional Student Government
The 8th Annual Niner Research Across the Disciplines, sponsored by the
Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG), was held on
Saturday, March 15th. All graduate students were invited to
participate in the Research Fair that consisted of judged
presentations, poster presentations, and an invited speaker. The
Annual Research Fair is a forum to increase awareness of research activities
conducted by fellow graduate students across all disciplines at UNC
Charlotte. Cash awards were presented to the students with the best
presentations as determined by faculty judges by category. All members
of the campus community were invited to attend these presentations.

Participate in the
Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG)
The Graduate and Professional Student
Government at UNC Charlotte is the governing body for
graduate students designed to meet the academic, social, and
logistical needs of graduate and post-baccalaureate students
enrolled at the University. Membership in the GPSG is open
to all graduate and post-baccalaureate students, both full
and part time. Each graduate program is provided one voting
member on the GPSG Senate. Any graduate student is welcome
to participate in the activities and work of the GPSG.
