Office Of Development

Shaping What's Ahead. Together, we make a difference and shape the future. And here at the UNC Charlotte Office of Development, we have taken that vision to heart.

We support the university’s mission to become the state’s third publicly supported international research university by encouraging friends, donors, alumni and other supporters to contribute to the university’s excellence through diverse philanthropic opportunities.

Known traditionally as a “state-supported institution,” UNC Charlotte is more accurately a “state-assisted institution,” as we depend upon non-state resources for more than half of our operating needs. All it takes is a gift to fulfill the promise we offer far beyond our campus boundaries.

Your gift is a fundamental conduit to help UNC Charlotte attract and retain talented faculty and researchers, inspire vibrant students to lead and learn and encourage business leaders and innovators to form vital partnerships that drive our shared economic and cultural future.

Contact our office today to discuss your plans to support UNC Charlotte! Your gift can be directed to any UNC Charlotte college or program in a manner that is meaningful to you. Your gift will make a tangible difference in the lives of countless students and faculty, and the institution and community as a whole.

Together, we’re shaping what’s ahead at UNC Charlotte!

A family recipe for philanthropy and giving to others that is passed down from one generation to the next.
