The program has emphasis on both technical and non technical aspects of the fire service and is geared toward those seeking administrative positions within the fire service. The Fire Safety Engineering Technology Program at UNC Charlotte is one of a handful of similar programs in the United States related to Fire and Safety, Fire Engineering, Fire Science and Fire Administration.  We are aware of only six such programs where you can receive a bachelors degree in Fire Safety Engineering Technology.
