College of Business

The Belk College of Business serves the people of the Charlotte region and the State of North Carolina, as well as selected national and international communities. The College serves these constituents through the delivery of undergraduate and graduate programs in business administration and related interdisciplinary fields and through the development and dissemination of new knowledge. Through continuous improvement, the College seeks to maintain high standards in its programs and its intellectual contributions. College of Computing and Informatics

College of Computing and Informatics empowers people and society through information. We educate professionals skilled at using information and information technology to elevate and to advance the agendas of individuals, groups, and society. The College also leads in the evolution of the information and computing disciplines, teaches the ethical use of information and information technology, collaborates with various communities and organizations for successful use of information and information technology.
College of Education

With over 1,400 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students, the College of Education prepares excellent education professionals through undergraduate and graduate programs in teacher education, child and family development, counseling, instructional technology, and educational leadership. The new Master of Arts in Teaching program offers college graduates the opportunity to prepare for the teaching profession. Doctoral programs are available in educational leadership, counseling, and special education. It is the College's goal to prepare professionals who will contribute to the positive development of persons, the development of effective schools for all children and youth, and to the alleviation and prevention of many of today's problems.

College of Health and Human Services

The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) aspires to excellence in educational programs, scholarship and research, and community service in human services and health sciences. Graduate School

The Graduate School was established in 1985 with the appointment of the first Dean of the Graduate School, although graduate degree programs had been offered since 1969. Today more than 660 members of the Graduate Faculty and more than 3,100 graduate students participate in a broad array of graduate programs at the master's and doctoral levels and in graduate certificate programs.
Honors College

The Honors College at UNC Charlotte offers academically talented, enthusiastic, motivated students many of the personal and intellectual advantages of a small liberal arts college within the diversity of a large university. The emphasis is on seminars, intensive reading, writing, and discussion in which reasoned self-expression and critical thinking are valued and rewarded. The Honors College is comprised of several distinct programs, each with its own standards for admission and requirements for graduation. Honors College Programs include: Business Honors, University Honors, Teaching Fellows and several Department Honors Programs. Unique enrichment opportunities; including scholarships, study abroad, community service, executive shadowing, special lectures, and individualized senior projects are also available. Some exceptionally talented students are enrolled in more than one program. An honors residence option is also available for all students in the Honors College.
University College

University College serves all undergraduate students at UNC Charlotte through
the General Education program which it coordinates on behalf of and with the
support of all of the academic colleges that make up the campus community. In
addition, University College houses all undergraduate students who are
exploring their options before choosing a major, particularly through the
University Advising Center.
