Prospective Transfer, Second Degree, and Visiting Students should log in now to create their Future 49er Web Portal account. In your portal you can:
  • Apply for Admission
  • Register for a Campus Visit
  • Register for Open House
  • Check your Application Status
  • Ask a Question

  • Credit Advisor which lets you see how courses from other institutions have transferred to UNC Charlotte in the past.


  • Transfer Credit Report will be available to admitted students to show exactly which courses transferred to UNC Charlotte.


  • Transfer Guides will help guide you toward appropriate transfer courses based upon your academic major.


    • Transfer Guides for students attending a North Carolina Community College.


    • Transfer Guides for students not attending a North Carolina Community College.


  • Visiting students are students who are interested in taking classes at UNC Charlotte to transfer back to their college or university.


  • Second degree seeking students are students who have already earned a bachelor's degree from another institution and are interested in pursuing another bachelor's degree at UNC Charlotte.

  • All 2010 terms are open for applications.  Please apply online. Note that due to University space limitations, spring term 2010 is closed for visitor application. All other transfer student applications, including second degree applications, for spring term 2010 will close on November 15, 2009.

  • NOTE: The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at UNC Charlotte REQUIRES that all internationally-educated applicants have their foreign credentials evaluated by an accredited credential evaluation service. Transfer applicants must have a "Course by Course Report" completed by the service. Freshman applicants must have a "Document-by-Document Report" completed. Many UNC Charlotte applicants choose World Education Services (WES) as their evaluation service. - Please click here for more details on WES.   • New transfer students for fall and spring cannot register for classes until they attend SOAR (orientation).  Transfer students entering in summer must make an appointment with their academic department to be advised prior to registering for classes.

  • All new transfer and readdmitted UNC Charlotte students must obtain the proper immunizations and complete an Immunizations Form.
