Summer and Fall 2009 terms are open for applications. Please apply online.
- Financial Aid and Merit Scholarship information:

- Admission application fee waiver note: Students requiring a need-based admission application
fee waiver must print and complete the manual fee waiver application available here. Please
attach the signed College Board Fee Waiver Request Form directly to the application and mail it to the address at the
bottom of this page. It would also be helpful and speed the process if the student's official high school transcript and SAT
scores were included in this package.
- Advising Guidelines for
the SAT Exam :
In light of changes to the SAT exam, please use the guidelines below to counsel
students on UNC Charlotte admission requirements.
In March 2005, the new SAT I
exam, which requires a writing component, replaced the old SAT. In order to
fulfill our admissions requirements:
- The SAT I exam with writing component or the ACT with writing component is required for all entering freshmen at UNC Charlotte.
- Seniors and juniors who register to take the ACT
are required to register for the optional writing component of
the ACT. However, the writing component of the SAT I is automatically administered to all
students registered for that test and requires no additional action by
your students.
