Students whose applications become complete
after the February 15th date will be considered on a space available
basis.
Required High School Courses (Minimum Admissions Requirements)
English: Four units (college preparatory)
Math: Four Units, Algebra 1, Algebra
2, Geometry, and a higher level math
for which Algebra 2 is a prerequisite.
Social studies: Two units, one of which must be
U.S. History
Science: Three units (a physical science, a biological
science, and a laboratory science course)
Foreign language: Two units of the same language
Recommended High School Courses
Math, science, and foreign language in the senior
year
World history
Health education (1/2 unit)
Additional academic courses beyond the Minimum
Admission Requirements
Admission Decisions Are Based On:
High School Performance
Academic courses in grades 9 - 11. Applicants must
have the required high school courses. Most applicants we admit exceed them and have
performed well.
Grade point average. Please provide us with your weighted and unweighted
grade point average computed on a 4.0 scale.
Senior year course selection. In addition to
English, we encourage students to take math, science, and foreign language in the senior
year. We also expect a solid schedule of academic courses in the Spring semester.
SAT or ACT Scores
Take the test prior to and during the fall of your
senior year. Writing module is required.
